This vineyard extends from the gates of Montpellier to the first foothills of the Cévennes. The charming medieval village of Corconne is located in the north of this region, inseparable from the terroir of La Gravette.
The frost of 1956 decimated the olive groves, which then gave way to vines, the oldest of which are now over 50 years old.
Vieilles Vignes is a blend of 40% Carignan, 40% Syrah and 20% Grenache. It has rich tanins, is a little spicy and has a terrific finish. Notes of red berries and perhaps a hint of pepper. Enjoy with slightly spicy or sweet and sour dishes, poultry and meat cooked in sauce.
